The
Process of Being Coached
Entrepreneurs
and small business owners want to know what business coaching really
"looks like". Unlike a management consultant, we do not tell
you what to change with your business. Certainly, in the course of
assessment, we may make observations about improvements and have ideas
for possible improvements, but our main objective is to find out what
you need for improved success. You define what is - we help you do it.
This generally means assisting you identify your areas of strengths and
weakness. We support you as you develop in the areas that are defined -
by you - as areas for improvement.
We
help you during your initial consultation to articulate you goals as
well as your needs for support. We will assess you with some tests and
questionnaires to understand your "personality type". The assessment
process is key to our intervention strategy. We'll also interview
you about your self-observations- what motivates you and what holds you
back. After our assessment consultation will tell you genuinely if our
team can help with your needs.
Once
personal and business needs have been defined, we'll talk about your
work and home environment. We'll arrange for a time to visit at your
site (if geographically possible) for our next meeting. Also you'll have
the benefit of working with one identified person at CenterGround. You
will not be bounced around to a person who is unfamiliar with you or
your business.
We
contract with businesses on a three month basis. Each month we will meet
with you for three hour-long meetings (telephonically or in person). We
will also check in with you weekly by email. We are also available for
consultations between meetings should there be an issue or need you have
that you would like to discuss.
We
have a money back guarantee with all of our work. If you are not
satisfied with our work we will return your money. Our best business
referrals are from word of mouth. We want you to be pleased with your
investment with CenterGround and tell others about how we helped you get
ahead.
